Shalom and welcome to ALEPHTAPH — a unique musical journey forged from deep faith, personal passion, and the raw energy of metal.

I’m a nearly 50-year-old Swiss musician, husband, father. For as long as I can remember, Judaism, family, and music have been the pillars of my life. While there is an abundance of beautiful Jewish music out there, I often found myself yearning for something different — a sound that echoed my spiritual fire and love for heavier, darker tones. Something that felt like “kosher metal.”

That’s when my dear friend and mentor, Rabbi Yehezkel Yosef Abulafia, offered me powerful encouragement:

“If it doesn’t exist yet, create it.”

And so, ALEPHTAPH was born.

The Sound

ALEPHTAPH blends Jewish liturgy, Kabbalistic themes, and modern Hebrew prayers with the soaring intensity of symphonic and progressive metal. What began as a digital-only project is growing into a full-fledged musical movement. With your support, the next step will be to bring these songs to life through professional studio recordings, live instruments, and high-quality mastering.
